The National Hospital Mutual Fund (MNH), which was the victim of a "large-scale" cyberattack in early February, announced on Tuesday that it had not found "a data leak from members, employees and partners".
After the detection of this cyberattack against the information system on February 5, security measures "were immediately implemented: disconnection of the entire computer network and all applications of the mutual", indicated the MNH , which has more than a million members and is based in Amilly (Loiret).
A delay on repayments
Since Friday, the website of the MNH is back online, while employees are mobilized "to reduce the delay in reimbursement requests received by mail and e-mail", according to the same source.
“From day one, we made the choice to be transparent, in accordance with our mutualist values and to inform our members about the reasons for the unavailability of our systems.
The first feedback from our members testifies to their understanding ”, declared Médéric Monestier, general manager of the MNH, quoted in the press release.
