March 02, 2021: The 279 teenage girls kidnapped from their boarding school in Jangebe, northeastern Nigeria on Friday, were released at dawn today and are currently on government premises in Zamfara. The governor of the state, Bello Matawalle, told AFP. "I am happy - said Bello - to announce that the girls have been released. They have just arrived at the government building, and are in good health".
