Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 30th that it has been confirmed that a total of 30 men and women in their teens to 90s are infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture was 1925.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s in Yamatotakada City and a woman in his 90s in Oyodo Town had died.
A total of 24 people died after being confirmed infected in the prefecture.
