Lotte (dpa / lnw) - Third division soccer team MSV Duisburg has for the time being said goodbye to the relegation ranks with the third win in a row.

The team of the new coach Pavel Dotchev won the neighborhood duel at KFC Uerdingen 2: 1 (2: 1) on Sunday, which dropped to 17th place.

However, the Krefeld team still have a few games to make up for.

Ex-Bundesliga professional Assani Lukimya gave Uerdingen an early lead (6th minute).

Moritz Stoppelkamp (38th) and Federico Palacios (44th) turned the game for Duisburg before the break, where Dotchev celebrated a perfect debut with two wins from two games.

The game was of necessity played in Lotte, around 200 kilometers from Krefeld.

The background is the stadium problem of the KFC, which is in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings.

Since the home stadium is not suitable for games, Uerdingen last played its home games in Düsseldorf.

After some trouble with the stadium operator, the KFC has now found a new home in Lotte.
