As BelTA writes, at a meeting on Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the military sphere, Lukashenko recalled that Belarus and Russia had experience in 2014 during the Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk, when Russian planes arrived in Belarus to carry out joint duty with the participation of pilots of both countries.

According to Lukashenka, this experience can be used in the future.

“Give us these planes.

But on these planes, as then, the Russians and Belarusians should fly together.

And there are enough bases, they do not need to be created, why waste money ... Better to buy or build new aircraft for this, ”he said.

At the end of September, two Russian Tu-160 supersonic missile carriers conducted a special flight along the northwestern, western and southwestern borders of Belarus as part of an exercise. Air cover was carried out by fighter aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force.
