Meppen (dpa) - Dynamo Dresden marches on towards the 2nd Bundesliga.

The leader of the third division defeated SV Meppen 4-0 (2-0) on Saturday and has eleven game days before the end of the season with 54 points, eight points ahead of the relegation rank.

Christoph Daferner (3rd minute), Heinz Mörschel (25th / 72nd) and Philipp Hosiner (54th / foul penalty) scored the goals for Dresden's 100th third division victory.

The guests set the course for the eighth away win of the season early on.

Daferner danced out his opponent after Hosiner's cross and finished unstoppable for Meppen's goalkeeper.

Then the home side got better into the game, but could not develop the necessary goal threat.

Dresden remained more dangerous in front of the goal and had control of the game back after just under 20 minutes.

Almost consequently, Mörschel increased it with a remarkable free kick from around 17 meters to make it 2-0.

After the break, the league leaders made everything clear.

Hosiner with a foul penalty and again Mörschel with a long-range shot scored to ultimately never endangered Dynamo victory.
