Prefecture and Kumamoto City Announced on the 23rd 39 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Kumamoto Prefecture.
The total number of infected people in Kumamoto Prefecture is now 3182.
It also means that two people died.
The dead were a man in his 80s in Kumamoto City and a woman in his 80s who was in the special nursing home for the elderly "Aisato" in Yamaga City, where the cluster occurred.
The death toll in Kumamoto Prefecture is now 53.
