The former president of the National Front Jean-Marie Le Pen religiously married, according to the Catholic rite, his wife Jany on Saturday at her home in Rueil-Malmaison (Hauts-de-Seine), in the presence of a traditionalist priest.
Jean-Marie Le Pen, 92, and Jany Le Pen, 88, had already been civilly married since 1991. None of the three daughters of the co-founder of the FN (now RN) "was aware", told AFP the entourage of the youngest Marine Le Pen, who succeeded her father at the head of the far-right party in 2011.
