ITOCHU, a major trading company, has partnered with the Japanese subsidiary of the world's largest French company for industrial gas, and is a plant that jointly produces hydrogen for the utilization of hydrogen, which is attracting attention as a next-generation energy that does not emit carbon dioxide. We have decided to proceed with the construction of the hydrogen station and the development of hydrogen stations in Japan.

ITOCHU Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Japanese subsidiary of Air Liquide, a French company that handles industrial gas, and announced that it will jointly manufacture and sell hydrogen.

In addition to constructing a plant that produces hydrogen by the mid-2020s, we would like to sell it to fuel cell trucks, which are expected to become widespread in the future, by installing a hydrogen station at a gas station.

With the aim of achieving the government's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to virtually zero by 2050, hydrogen is attracting attention as a next-generation energy source that does not emit carbon dioxide. Wants to promote the creation of a system that handles everything from hydrogen production to sales.
