January 13, 2021 Lisa Montgomery, the first woman to be executed in 70 years, was killed by lethal injection in a federal execution. This was announced by the US Department of Justice. His execution was suspended yesterday to allow a psychiatric examination on the woman: a suspension that had raised hope in those around the world who oppose the death penalty.



Lisa Montgomery was killed by lethal injection in the Terre Haute prison in Indiana, in execution of the death penalty established in 2007 by a Missouri court.
