Berlin (dpa / bb) - The seven-day incidence of corona infections in Berlin remains above 50. On Tuesday, the Senate Health Administration registered 57.9 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, again slightly more than the day before ( 57.2).

After the value had fallen significantly for weeks, the trend recently reversed.

The corresponding Corona traffic light remains on red. It would only jump to yellow from a value of 30, and to green from 20.

On Monday, 268 newly infected people were registered in Berlin.

The number of cases rose to 127,453. 26 people also died from or with the virus.

The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 2,766 in Berlin.

The corona traffic light continues to show yellow for the proportion of intensive care beds occupied by Covid 19 patients: it is currently 19.4 percent.

The threshold for a red traffic light signal is 25 percent.
