Munich (dpa / lby) - Icy temperatures and snow await the people in Bavaria on Thursday.
According to the German Weather Service, the day starts with slippery ice and fresh snow.
During the day there is still some snow, especially in the Alps, in the Vogtland there may be light snow showers.
Only in western Franconia and in the foothills of the Alps does the sun now and then fight its way through the cloud cover.
The temperatures are between minus ten and minus five degrees on the lower Main.
In the region around Lake Constance and the Danube, people can look forward to somewhat milder conditions.
The maximum values there are between minus four and minus one degree.
In the night of Friday the temperatures drop again.
Sometimes it gets icy cold with up to minus 20 degrees.
