Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - A woman was seriously injured in a fire in an apartment building in the Friedrichstadt district of Düsseldorf.
On Saturday evening, the control center of the Düsseldorf fire department received an emergency call that a burning smell had been detected in the residential building.
In the affected apartment on the first floor, the fire brigade said it found the injured woman.
She was taken to a special clinic with severe burns.
The fire in the apartment was quickly extinguished.
The cause of the fire initially remained unclear.
