China News Service, Hong Kong, February 1 (Reporter Wang Jiacheng) Li Zhiying, founder of Hong Kong Next Media Group, was granted conditional bail by the High Court earlier, and the Department of Justice subsequently appealed the decision of the High Court to the Court of Final Appeal.
On December 31 last year, the Court of Final Appeal granted permission to appeal and a temporary detention order, and Li Zhiying was remanded in custody.
On February 1, the case was tried in the Court of Final Appeal. After hearing the statements of the prosecution and defense, the judge decided to adjourn the case.
During this period, Li Zhiying must continue to be remanded.
