Without scruple, a 34-year-old man did not hesitate to take advantage of the weak position of an outsider to steal his cell phone.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, around 2:40 a.m., the agents of the town hall of Toulouse spotted on the images of the CCTV cameras the strange merry-go-round of a man near a sleeping homeless man.

He was in the Place des Carmes when he leaned over to steal his phone.

The man woke up, but then his 34-year-old attacker grabbed and shook him, before running away with the cell phone.

Caught up by municipal police at Parliament Square, he was arrested.

In police custody, he admitted the facts and apologized, says a police source.

He was left free with a court summons for the month of March.
