Greece announced a drop in GDP of the country in 2020 by 8.2%

“This estimate was calculated based on the sum of the respective results for the quarters of 2020 (not seasonally adjusted).

According to this estimate, GDP in 2020 in physical terms amounted to € 168.5 billion compared to € 183.6 billion in 2019, showing a decline of 8.2%, ”the department notes.

At the same time, Elstat added that GDP at current prices last year was € 165.8 billion, compared with € 183.4 billion in 2019.

It is noted that the second estimate of 2020 GDP is scheduled to be announced on October 15.
