On the morning of February 23, local time, American golf star Tiger Woods was in a car accident in Los Angeles County. He was seriously injured and was undergoing leg surgery.
The Los Angeles County police stated that the accident occurred at around 7:15 in the morning, with only Woods in the car and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
A spokesperson for the local fire department said that the firefighters pried open the front windshield and rescued Woods when he was sober.
The ambulance has taken Woods to the hospital.
The images of the accident site showed that the SUV he was driving overturned outside the hillside road and the front end was severely damaged.
Woods' agent Steinberg said that Woods suffered multiple injuries to his leg in the accident and is currently undergoing surgery.
At present, the cause of the accident is not clear.
Woods was born on December 30, 1975, is a famous American golfer.
In April 2019, former US President Trump awarded Woods the "Presidential Medal of Freedom."
