Frankfurt (dpa / lhe) - Two months after the start of the vaccination campaign on December 27, 2020, the old people's and care facilities in Frankfurt are provided with the first vaccination, with a few exceptions, according to the city administration.

The Hessian municipality announced on Sunday that more than 3800 of the 4800 or so residents of the senior facilities had received a vaccination.

That is a vaccination rate of 80 percent.

In addition, more than 2500 employees have been vaccinated.

The second vaccinations should also be completed by the end of March, it said.

Mayor Peter Feldmann (SPD) spoke according to the announcement of a first milestone.
