Munich (AP) - Coach Hansi Flick believes FC Bayern Munich is back on the right track before the away game at FC Augsburg.

The wake-up call with the defeat in Mönchengladbach and the subsequent DFB-Pokal-Aus at the football second division Holstein Kiel probably worked, the coach believes after the most recent 2-1 home win against SC Freiburg.

"Maybe we needed the two defeats to just sharpen our senses again," said Flick on Tuesday.

The already established first round champion can probably fall back on Serge Gnabry on Wednesday (8.30 p.m.) in Augsburg.

The national player, who had to leave the pitch against Freiburg with muscular problems, was able to train.

"It looks pretty good," said Flick.

Against the FCA, he could draw on a full squad.

At most, there should be adjustments to the list.

"The team did it well against Freiburg, and they tried to change little," said Flick.

It is currently also about constancy.
