Munich (AP) - Football professional Corentin Tolisso from FC Bayern Munich has to pay a fine because of his new tattoo and a violation of the club's corona guidelines.

«This violation is very annoying and in no case to be tolerated.

We will therefore impose a heavy fine on Corentin Tolisso, and we will donate the amount to social causes, ”said CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in a club announcement on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Frenchman Tolisso had a tattoo this week and, according to the Munich-based company, violated the club's corona guidelines.

The prerequisite for the games during the pandemic is that all those involved adhere to the hygiene concept, said Rummenigge.

"Corentin Tolisso has now violated these guidelines, although our sports and medical management continuously and clearly communicated these guidelines internally," he criticized.

The «Bild» newspaper had previously reported on it.

A photo in the social networks showed that neither Tolisso nor the tattoo artist had worn mouth and nose protection.

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic said before the home game against TSG Hoffenheim on Sky TV that there would be a penalty for Tolisso, "which he will feel".

"That is of course annoying," said Salihamidzic.

"I spoke to him, he understood and knows that he has made a mistake," added the sports director, who reported a "clear and precise" conversation.
