NTT announced that it will set up an investigation committee made up of lawyers and others to investigate in detail the dinner between the president and other executives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, which is said to have been entertainment that violated the ethical rules of national civil servants.
The Investigation Committee will be chaired by Mr. Sadayuki Sakakibara, Honorary Chairman of Keidanren and an outside director of NTT.
We will also investigate whether there was any other entertainment between executives and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications that violated the ethical code of national civil servants.
