Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - Adi Hütter wants to remain loyal to Eintracht Frankfurt in the coming season.

“I'm staying,” emphasized the coach of the Hessian Bundesliga club on Sunday in the TV talk “Sky90”.

The 51-year-old Austrian was last traded as a possible successor to Marco Rose at Borussia Mönchengladbach, who is moving to Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

“I don't even bother with speculation.

I have a contract with Eintracht, where I feel very comfortable.

That's why there is no discussion at all, ”Hütter confirmed.

The former professional has been responsible for the sport at Frankfurt since 2018 and extended his contract early in the autumn of the previous year to summer 2023.

The Hessians are currently in fourth place in the table and can dream of participating in the Champions League for the first time despite the bitter 1: 2 defeat at Werder Bremen on Friday.

«The favorites are different.

But when an opportunity arises, you have to seize it.

We really want it and we can do it, ”said Hütter.

He also hopes that the sports director Fredi Bobic, who is heavily courted by league rivals Hertha BSC, will remain.

"It is not only important for me, but it would also be important for the whole club if Fredi stays in Frankfurt because he simply has this calm and charisma," said Hütter.

In the management team, which also includes sports director Bruno Hübner, who is leaving at the end of the season, and his successor - the current chief scout Ben Manga - a lot is communicated.

"The cooperation at Eintracht is simply class and class," praised Hütter.
