WORLD:

What really happened in Washington and what is going on in the American capital while we are talking to each other?

Edward Luttwak:

A riot, a small, variegated riot.

And riots are not unusual.

The special thing about this is that it was instigated by the current ruler.

WORLD:

Others are more alarmist.

George W. Bush speaks of chaos and that what has happened is worthy of a banana republic, but not of the United States.

Hillary Clinton writes that those who broke into the Capitol were domestic terrorists.

And a Republican MP tweeted that they were going to witness a coup.
