This Wednesday morning, shortly after 6 a.m., route des Champs, in Brains in Loire-Atlantique, the firefighters were called in for an unusual traffic accident.
A vehicle collided with stray horses.
According to a press release from SDIS 44 (departmental fire and rescue service), the driver, a 45-year-old man, was slightly injured and transported to the Nantes University Hospital.
Two horses were found dead at the scene of the accident.
A gendarmerie investigation must be opened to find out what happened.
