Berlin (dpa / bb) - The director of the Berliner Volksbühne, Klaus Dörr, has warned of permanent damage to the theaters due to the pandemic.
He reckons that many theater workers will give up their jobs, said Dörr of the "Berliner Zeitung" (Monday).
"I'm afraid that a fifth of theater professionals will have to look for a new job."
The closure of the theaters does not seem to have a serious effect on the pandemic, said the 60-year-old.
