The importer and distributor of the vaccine will be the local pharmaceutical company AGP.
Sputnik V is the third vaccine approved in Pakistan, after the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford, as well as the Chinese company Sinopharm.
On January 22, it was reported that Pakistan had received a request to register the Sputnik V vaccine.
