Date and place of farewell to Metropolitan Filaret have become known

"Farewell to ... Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeev) will take place in the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Minsk and in the Assumption Zhirovichi Monastery (ag. Zhirovichi, Slonim District, Grodno Region)," the statement says.

It is noted that on January 15 at the Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery, the conciliar bishop's Divine Liturgy will begin, "at the end of which there will be a memorial service for the newly departed."

"After the requiem, the body of the deceased Metropolitan Filaret will be buried behind the Holy Cross Church of the Assumption Zhirovichi Monastery," the BOC added.

Earlier, the Belarusian Orthodox Church reported that the honorary patriarchal exarch of All Belarus, Metropolitan Filaret, had died.
