The suspect who killed two people in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul was arrested after a day of the crime.
Seoul's Yeongdeungpo Police Department said that today (23rd) around 3 pm, a Chinese compatriot A in her 50s was arrested as a suspect in the murder of a man and woman in Guro-dong.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing and killing two middle-aged men and women with a weapon in an alley in Daerim-dong at around 8:10 yesterday evening.
They were found with cardiac arrest and were taken to hospital for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but died.
Both victims were also confirmed to be Chinese compatriots.
A police official said, "We were arrested through on-site CCTV and mobile phone location tracking," and said, "We are going to investigate the relationship between Mr. A and the victims, the motive and the course of the crime.
