WORLD:

Vaccination doses are repeatedly lost because people do not show up for an appointment.

Does this problem also exist in Denmark?

Flemming Konradsen:

Fortunately, there is a very clear regulation: As soon as five people fail to show up, an overflow system comes into effect, through which other people on the waiting list immediately move up.

This is important because the Biontech / Pfizer vaccine, for example, loses its effect relatively quickly after opening a bottle.

In this way we can ensure that 100 percent of the vaccines are used.

WORLD:

In many EU countries, including Germany, large vaccine contingents are on dump.

What must countries do to avoid being overwhelmed when millions more cans arrive soon?
