Tuesday, France has 80,443 dead from the coronavirus, or 296 more in the last 24 hours.

As government spokesman Gabriel Attal said, the data show a "slightly declining plateau".  

The latest report from the health authorities confirms that the Covid-19 epidemic in France is on "a high plateau, even if it appears to have been declining slightly for a week", as described by government spokesman Gabriel Attal on Wednesday.

The death toll stands at 80,443, or 296 additional deaths in 24 hours.

Slight decrease in hospitalizations and resuscitations

In addition, 27,461 people are hospitalized in France because of the Covid, or 216 less compared to the day before.

A trend that is also observed in resuscitation, since there are 3,319 serious cases on Tuesday, or 23 less.
