On Saturday, the first 9,750 vaccine doses for the Free State arrived under police protection in the central warehouse provided for this purpose. The exact location of the camp is not given for security reasons. On the way to the retirement homes, the strongly cooled vaccine is then transported at temperatures between two to eight degrees and thawed in the process. In the homes, the agent can be diluted with sterile saline and administered. Further deliveries should arrive before the turn of the year.
