Four weeks ago, on February 9, the incidence was 72.8.
The number of new infections in Germany fell significantly for weeks in January and February.

The RKI has counted 2,509,445 detected infections with Sars-CoV-2 in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic.
The actual total number is likely to be significantly higher, as many infections are not detected.
The RKI stated the number of those who had recovered at around 2,319,600.

According to the RKI management report from Monday evening, the

seven-day R-value
was
1.03
(previous day 1.06).
This means that 100 infected people theoretically infect 103 more people.
The value represents the occurrence of the infection eight to 16 days ago.
If it is below 1 for a longer period of time, the infection process subsides;
if it is consistently higher, the number of cases increases.
In the
district of Calw
, all shops have been open since Tuesday, although the seven-day incidence is actually over 50 per 100,000 inhabitants.
According to its own statements, the Calw district office relies on an "adjusted incidence" and the state's current Corona ordinance.
It states that "when assessing the incidence values, the health department can take appropriate account of the diffusivity of the infection process".

The infection process in the district can be limited in significant parts and is therefore not diffuse, the health department announced on Monday.
