Accepting the resignation of Comrade Lin Yujun as a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing, chairman of the Supervision and Judicial Committee of the Fifth People's Congress of Chongqing, and a member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Fifth People's Congress, Wang Yong Comrades resigned as member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth Chongqing People’s Congress and chairman of the Ethnic, Religious Overseas Chinese Affairs and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Fifth Chongqing People’s Congress, and reported to the Fourth Meeting of the Fifth Chongqing People’s Congress for the record.

After voting, Zhou Shaozheng was appointed as the director of the General Office of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress; Li Hongliang was the deputy secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress; and Tang Hongjun was the deputy chairman of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress Agriculture and Rural Committee.
