There are now three levels of compulsory virus testing. The first is territory-wide. As long as there are two unrelated cases in any building or building or a positive sewage sample, mandatory testing is required.

Since this wave of the epidemic, I know that more than 100 buildings in Hong Kong have met the conditions for two unrelated cases, and the entire building requires mandatory testing.

[Commentary] Carrie Lam said that in addition to Jordan and Sham Shui Po, the second-level designated areas have also identified several other designated areas, which will be announced later.

The second level is the mandatory inspection of the designated area, that is, the designated area has a higher risk, so as long as there is a single case in a building in the designated area, the building needs to be subject to mandatory inspection.

At the same time, if a sample of sewage in a designated area is tested positive, as long as one sample is positive, then the building covered by the sample needs to undergo mandatory testing.

There are currently two designated areas. One is the designated area in Jordan and the other is the designated area in Sham Shui Po. We have identified several designated areas and will announce them later.

[Commentary] Carrie Lam also emphasized that if the epidemic becomes more serious, the highest level of mandatory virus testing will be adopted. Residents in restricted areas will need to "free feet" in addition to cooperating with the new coronavirus testing.

The third is more stringent, just like the restricted area of more than 150 buildings in Jordan, except for inspection, the movement of people is restricted.

At this time, there is no need to see whether there are confirmed cases in the building. Residents in all buildings in the entire area need to be prohibited from leaving the area and being tested for the virus for a period of time.
