Bessenbach (dpa / lby) - A driver caught and fatally injured two pedestrians in Bessenbach, Lower Franconia (Aschaffenburg district) on Tuesday.
A 79-year-old died at the scene of the accident, his 78-year-old wife a little later in the hospital.
As the police headquarters in Lower Franconia announced, initial findings indicated medical problems in the 59-year-old who caused the accident.
He was also taken to a hospital slightly injured.
After the pedestrians, his car had rammed the wall of a barn.
