Braunschweig (AP) - The Basketball Löwen Braunschweig have signed the Lithuanian national player Arnas Velicka for the rest of this season.
The Bundesliga club announced this on Monday.
The 21-year-old newcomer last played for the French first division team Champagne Basket from Reims and will therefore also miss the Braunschweiger game against Bundesliga leaders Ludwigsburg on Wednesday evening due to the quarantine regulations.
"Our concept of focusing on the development of young players is being registered very precisely in the basketball scene - and now across Europe," said sports director Nils Mittmann.
