Berlin (dpa) - FC Bayern's journey to the Club World Cup in Qatar has become a tough test of patience.
After the 1-0 win against Hertha BSC on Friday evening, the German soccer record champions hurriedly disappeared from the Olympic Stadium to get the flight to Doha for the Club World Cup.
This was scheduled for 11:15 p.m. at BER Airport.
On Saturday morning, however, the Bavarians tweeted: "Due to the refused entry permit, FC Bayern is now more than seven hours late taking off for the FIFA Club World Cup in Doha."
From Berlin it didn't go to Qatar, but back to Munich.
Because of the waiting in Berlin, the crew of flight QR 7402 had to be changed, as the Bavarians also announced on Twitter.
It should then go on to Doha.

In any case, the good mood should be gone to the players on board.

That's how we imagined it, ”Hansi Flick had said after the fifth league victory in succession for the clear leaders.
Munich started the trip with a 22-man squad, but without the German international Leon Goretzka and the Spaniard Javi Martínez.
Both have to pause because of positive corona results.
It is not ruled out that they will still travel.
