The president of Turkish club Basaksehir on Thursday called for the “life-delisting” of Romanian referee Sebastian Coltescu implicated for racist remarks during the Champions League match against PSG on Tuesday.
"This kind of referee should be removed for life," said Göksel Gümüsdag, quoted by the Turkish media, before the departure of his team from Paris to Istanbul.
There must be an exemplary sanction.

Wishing to punish Basaksehir's assistant coach, Cameroonian Pierre Achille Webo, with a red card for protest, Sebastian Coltescu, fourth referee, had designated him to the main referee as "the black" in Romanian ("negru") , provoking the anger and indignation of the two teams who withdrew from the field in protest.
UEFA, the governing body of European football, has announced that it will conduct an "in-depth investigation" into accusations of racism against the Romanian referee.
