During the days of the inauguration of US President Joe Biden, no less than 25 thousand National Guard fighters took part in the protection of Washington.

Wheatley also noted that the fighters of the US National Guard, stationed in Washington to guard the inauguration, did not spend the night in the car parking next to the Capitol building, but only rested, for the overnight stay, each serviceman was accommodated in a hotel.

Earlier, Biden declared the inauguration day as National Unity Day in the United States.
