Holzkirchen (dpa / lby) - In an apartment fire in Holzkirchen in Upper Bavaria (Miesbach district), a person was killed on Tuesday, according to the police.
A police spokesman said the fire brigade found a body during fire fighting in the ground floor apartment.
Presumably it is the resident of the apartment, an older man.
However, the identification of the body could take several days.
According to the spokesman, a firefighter suffered minor burns during the operation.
The cause of fire was unclear for the moment.
