The French striker extended until 2024 with the Mexican club, where he has been playing for six years now.

announced it on the networks.

"It is with great pride that I announce that I have just extended", he published.

At 35, he extended a second time with the club located in the state of Nuevo Leon, in northern Mexico, and of which he has become an icon.

"I gave you my word by telling you that I would do my whole career here, and today the club trusted me to make it happen," Gignac told the Felino supporters.

Recent World Club finalist

The former Toulouse and Marseille striker, who surprised in 2015 by going into exile in Mexico, has since become the club's top scorer, with 147 goals.

Twice top scorer in the Mexican first division, he is also the most prolific European in the history of the championship, with 125 goals.

With the Tigers, he notably won four Mexican league titles, a Concacaf Champions League and has just failed in the final of the Club World Cup against the all-powerful Bayern Munich (1-0).
