Al-Wasl strikes a date with Shabab Al-Ahly in the semi-finals of the cup

Al Wasl qualified for the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup, after defeating Sharjah today with two goals without a response, at Al Wasl Stadium in Zabeel during the second leg of the quarter-finals, to hit a date with Shabab Al Ahly, while Al Nasr meets Kalba in the second semi-final.

The match witnessed the absence of a large number of stars from the two teams, most notably Fabio Lima, Nicholas Oroes and Mendes in Al Wasl, and Igor, Wilton Suarez and Shukorov from Sharjah.

Al-Wasl opened the score, despite Sharjah's takeover, in the 41st minute, after an organized attack completed by Habush Saleh in the net with a powerful shot.

Figredo strengthened Al Wasl's lead in the second half, with a penalty kick just minutes after the start of the game, after Abdullah Ghanem from Sharjah blocked Al Wasl player Ali Saleh, and Figredo hit it successfully.
