Al-Ahly youth player Hamdan Al-Kamali said that the victory over Al-Nasr with a goal without a response, the day before yesterday, in the 13th round of the Arab Gulf League, ended the lack of luck that had accompanied the team in past matches.

And he stressed in a press statement that "Shabab Al-Ahly does not think about competing for the league title, and all focus is on returning to normal."

The youth of Al-Ahly raised their hopes of approaching the golden box, and scored their first victory after five rounds in which they did not taste the taste of victory.

"The team is developing greatly and there is a commitment from the players, and the return of some injured people, such as Argentine Cartabia and the development of Brazilian Carlos Eduardo, are matters that have contributed to the improvement of the team’s performance," Kamali added.

He concluded his remarks by saying: “Shabab Al-Ahly is an ambitious team that competes for titles, and we as players feel responsible before the club's management and we want to please the fans, and win over Al-Nasr in a good rehearsal before facing Sharjah in the Super Gulf Cup.”

Mahdi Ali: We needed this victory

Al-Ahly youth coach Mahdi Ali said, "The team was in dire need of this victory," and continued in the press conference: "The victory gives the team a good moral boost before facing Sharjah in the Super Gulf Cup."

He praised both Majid Nasser and Yahya Al-Ghassani, and said: "Majid made a big match and confronted a dangerous opportunity, and I also congratulate Yahya Al-Ghassani for scoring the winning goal."

He said that the victory over Al-Nasr came at an important time, and it is considered a good rehearsal before the Sharjah Super Cup meeting.
