In yesterday's downhill training in Val Gardena, Alexander Aamodt Kilde had the fastest time of all, something that gossiped about his form,

And when the downhill race was decided on Friday, the Norwegian was once again the fastest and took home the season's first victory and podium.

Two start numbers later, compatriot Kjetil Jansrud started.

The 35-year-old veteran was faster than Aamodt Kilde at several intervals but had to be beaten by 21 hundredths, which meant a third place.

In between, the Swiss Mauro Caviezel broke in, twelve hundredths behind Aamodt Kilde.

Two Swedes will start, Felix Monsén as number 41 and Alexander Köll as number 52.
