Raising awareness of the plight of the more than 2 billion people who live without access to safe water is the goal of World Water Day, which is celebrated on March 22 each year.

According to the latest UN report, more than 2 billion people in the world do not have access to drinking water and sanitation.

In sub-Saharan Africa, only 24% of the population has access to a safe source of drinking water and basic sanitation.

In countries where water infrastructure is lacking, people are forced to travel to access wells or pumping stations.

The lack of funding and the multiplicity of actors hamper the work.

How to improve access to water with lighter infrastructure such as there is for electricity?
