number of vaccinations yesterday, which is a holiday, was about 17,000, which is 25% of the weekdays.
The cumulative number of vaccinations is about 314,000, which is 0.61% of the total population in Korea.
About 309,000 people were vaccinated against AstraZeneca, or 98% of the total, and 5,200 people received the Pfizer vaccine.
Yesterday, 806 cases were reported for suspected adverse reactions after vaccination, recording a total of 3,689 cases.
The number of death reports increased by two to nine.
The two were women in their 50s and 60s who were admitted to a nursing hospital, and both had underlying diseases, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
So far, there have been 33 suspected cases of anaphylaxis, an acute severe allergy, and 5 cases of serious suspected cases such as convulsions.
Health officials will issue an interim conclusion tomorrow on reported deaths and serious adverse events after vaccination and whether they are causal with the vaccine.
