Cases (3 cases in Tianjin, 3 cases in Guangdong, 2 cases in Shaanxi, 1 case in Shanghai, 1 case in Sichuan); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.

  On the same day, 15 new cases were cured and discharged, and 435 close contacts were released from medical observation. The severe cases were the same as the previous day.

  There are currently 163 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 1 severe case), and there are no existing suspected cases.

A total of 5,059 confirmed cases, a total of 4,896 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths.

  As of 24:00 on March 5, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are currently 173 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), a total of 85,153 cured and discharged cases, and a total of 4,636 deaths. A total of 89,962 confirmed cases have been reported, and there are no existing suspected cases.

A total of 980,565 close contacts have been traced, and 4,451 close contacts are still under medical observation.

  31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 23 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); 1 confirmed case (imported from overseas) on the same day; 21 medical observations were lifted on the same day (all imported) Imported from abroad); 256 cases of asymptomatic infection are still under medical observation (254 imported from abroad).

  A total of 12,074 confirmed cases have been notified from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
