Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol expressed his blitz today (4th).



After making a class on the morning of that day, President Yoon wrote the entrance statement himself, and at 2 pm in front of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, he announced his intention to'resign as the president.



"The constitutional spirit and the rule of law system, which have supported the country, are being destroyed," said General Yoon.



He added, "My role in the prosecution is up to this point, but I will continue to do my best to protect liberal democracy and the people, no matter where I am."



The reporters asked Yoon, "Do you have any plans to enter politics after your resignation?"



Yoon, who was inaugurated as the 43rd Prosecutor General in 2019, will drop off midway with 142 days left in office.
