President Biden, who began his term at the White House around noon on the 20th local time, held an afternoon video conference and made his first greetings with over 1,000 employees.

To the employees across the screen, President Biden gave encouragement, saying, "We have a lot of work to do, but we know you can do it well."

He emphasized the respectful treatment of each other, saying, "If someone disrespects or treats another colleague while working together, I will fire that person on the spot."

Major foreign media outlets said, "It seems to be a remark that takes into account the unhealthy environment, such as the discord and quarrels of some of the staff in the White House over the past four years."

President Biden signed a total of 17 documents, including the suspension of the construction of the US-Mexico border barrier, the return of the Paris Climate Change Convention, and the suspension of withdrawal from the WHO, showing his willingness to overturn the previous government's executive order.
