Dubai Electricity and Water Authority launched the third phase of its virtual employee dependent on artificial intelligence "Rammas", as part of its efforts to develop a roadmap for artificial intelligence technologies, allowing customers to obtain more services from the authority through "Ramas", such as the "easy payment" service and offers " Dewa Store, in addition to participating in the Customer Happiness Index.

In a statement yesterday, the authority confirmed that project builders, including consultants and contractors, can track their requests for NOC services, water network services, electricity network services, general technical services and others, through Rams.

Rammas provides a range of the authority’s services, such as answering customer inquiries in both Arabic and English, through the authority’s website and its smart application, the authority’s account on the social networking site “Facebook”, “Alexa” smart systems from “Amazon”, and the “Musaed” platform. Google, robots, and the WhatsApp Business platform at 046019999.

Ramas responded to more than 3.9 million inquiries from its launch in 2017 until the end of September 2020, including 200,000 inquiries and responded via the WhatsApp Business platform, and it also performed 5,688 bill payment transactions during the same period.

The managing director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, affirmed the authority's commitment to encourage customers to use smart channels, in implementation of the Smart Dubai initiative.

Al Tayer added: “The authority provides all its services through its website and smart application, which allows customers to complete all the authority’s transactions through smart channels at any time and from anywhere, and saves their time and effort, achieves their happiness and preserves the environment.”

He continued: "We are looking forward to reducing the number of auditors and increasing the rates of smart adoption in the authority, which reached 98.5% during the third quarter of 2020."
